About Anthony Pica
Hi there. I'm Anthony.
I enjoy learning new things in diverse disciplines: technology, design, strategy, communication, and the three P’s (psychology, philosophy, productivity). To help me learn faster, I enjoy note-taking and writing. I'm a big believer in the value of writing, as it helps me connect concepts in new ways to gain a deeper understanding of our world.
This website is my digital journal where I share some of my writing with the world.
And as I cultivate ideas on working smarter and being a better leader, I share them in my newsletter.

More about Anthony Pica...
Keen interest in technology from a young age
My passion for technology dates back to the late ’90s—a time when JezzBall was popular. At a young age, I frequently customized and hacked the family computer. I coded bot scripts for online communities back when IRC was popular. I started fixing computers and home theatres for friends and family, and soon after, I was getting paid to provide computer and networking support to local small businesses.
Then I started developing websites, writing HTML and CSS in notepad. (It was a kind of poetry for me.) I designed websites for gaming communities, small businesses, and other organizations.
My clientbase grew globally, and I founded a marketing agency called Gray Thought Solutions LLC in 2005.
Over the next few years, I built a team and we helped organizations grow their businesses and build their brands with creative marketing solutions.
Solutions included brand design, web development, database management, web hosting, print marketing, SEO, and pay-per-click.
In 2010, one of my clients (Internet Creations, mentioned above) requested that I work in a full-time capacity to help grow the business faster. We transformed into a multi-million dollar company over the next two years. In 2013, Internet Creations was named one of the fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. Magazine.
A passion for continued learning
Today, my passion for technology persists. Technology is a tool for innovation. Specifically, Salesforce is a powerful platform for improving employee and customer experience. To satisfy my curiosity about how things work, I hold several certifications in Salesforce and marketing automation.
When I’m not growing Internet Creations, I enjoy:
- Reading and writing
- Smarthome automation
- Stoic philosophy
- Knowledge management
- Music theory, piano, ukulele
…and generally learning new things about the world we live in.
Engaging in different activities and hobbies fuels my creativity.
A new idea comes suddenly and in a rather intuitive way. But intuition is nothing but the outcome of earlier intellectual experience.
